A dedicated social worker and educator with over seven years of experience in the development sector, Ambreen Bhat currently serves as a Programme Officer at CHINAR International, contributing significantly to advancing quality education initiatives across Kashmir. With a Master’s degree in Social Work and a strong foundation built through hands-on field experience, she has consistently demonstrated leadership in designing, implementing, and managing impactful education programs. Ambreen began her journey with CHINAR International as an intern in 2018 and has steadily progressed into leadership roles, reflecting her commitment, capability, and deep understanding of community dynamics. Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in managing large-scale education programs across multiple districts. Her core expertise lies in program planning and execution, stakeholder engagement, teacher capacity building, and community mobilization. She has successfully led initiatives such as Community Learning Centres (CLCs), fellowship programs, and school transformation projects, focusing on improving foundational learning, integrating digital literacy, and promoting 21st- century skills and socio-emotional learning among children. Ambreen is known for her ability to build strong relationships with schools, educators, and communities, ensuring meaningful participation and sustained impact. She has also been instrumental in designing and facilitating training sessions for educators, enhancing teaching methodologies through innovative and child-centric approaches. With a strong commitment to equity in education and community empowerment, Ambreen continues to drive programs that create inclusive learning environments and enable children to reach their full potential.
